Terms of Service

Last updated 16 August 2026

These terms cover the online appointment scheduling tool used by a local congregation. It is operated by a volunteer and is not an official product of any church organization. There is no charge to use it.

What the service does

It lets you pick an open time and reserve it, and it sends you messages about that appointment. That is all it does. It does not record anything discussed in the appointment and it holds no financial information of any kind.

Using it

Text messages

Text messages are optional. You receive them only if you provide a mobile number and tick the consent box on the booking form. You will receive a confirmation, up to 3 reminders before the appointment, and a notice each time it is changed or cancelled. For most people that is 4 messages in total.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time.

Your appointment link

Every message includes a private link to your appointment. Anyone holding that link can view, reschedule, or cancel it, so treat it as you would any private link and do not post it publicly.

Changes and cancellations

You can reschedule or cancel your own appointment at any time using your link. The clerk may also reschedule or cancel appointments when the schedule changes, and you will be told by email if that happens.

Availability

This is a volunteer-run tool provided as is, with no guarantee that it will be available without interruption. If it is unavailable when you need it, contact the clerk and book by other means.

Privacy

How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Contact

Questions go to the congregation's clerk, who administers the scheduling tool.
